It's May already and now that we're used to the nice weather, we should get out and enjoy it! Here are 5 things you can head out and do this month:

1. Visit Dart's Hill

Darts Hill is Francisca and Edwin Darts’ living legacy – a plantsman’s garden with an immense variety of mature shrubs and trees from around the world. The garden is currently open during our annual Sounds of Summer event, as well as during our Saturday Strolls with extended hours for our seasonal Open Houses and Plant Sales. For more information please visit the Darts Hill Event Calendar.

Take a casual stroll at your own pace, while enjoying an ever-changing cascade of colour as each season unfolds at Darts. You'll be greeted at the entrance by friendly staff and volunteers who will provide you with a map and information about the garden.

2. Discovery Day at the Surrey Nature Centre

Kick start your nature adventure this spring with a Nature Guide in our NEW indoor space stocked with books, puppets, natural materials and opportunities for hands-on exploration. Stay, play and learn, then head outside to extend your adventure with discoveries in the forest. Rain or shine.
